When school is out for the summer, many families who relied on school meals for their kids will be receiving meals delivered to their homes all summer long, with 5 nutritious meals for all kid registered by the household. The past few years, Grove Christian Outreach Center has been delivering these meals to homes as well as having lunches available at the Center for pick up if preferred.

Thanks to our community partners, Westgate Foundation, Langley for Families Foundation, Kiwanis Club of Williamsburg, and Rotary of Williamsburg for helping to support our Summer Lunch Program and funding the lunches we provide and ensuring that no kids go hungry this Summer!

And we need YOU to help us run this program smoothly!!!

We are looking for drivers/runners to pick up our vehicle here at the Center and make deliveries each week. This is a commitment of about three hours each day, and a volunteer can sign up for one day or many. Addresses for delivery, the number of lunches to deliver and maps will be provided. The hours are between appx. 10:30am-1:30pm. Summer lunch delivery will take place between June 26-August 16.
