At Grove Christian Outreach Center, volunteers are at the very core of everything we do. Whether you’re a first-time volunteer or one of our faithful regulars, your time and talents help us meet the critical needs of families in the Grove and Greater Williamsburg community with dignity and love.
There’s truly something for everyone—
- Help the neighbors shop in The Gathering Place, the Williamsburg region’s first free grocery market
- Receive and sort clothing donations to our Clothing Closet, and help people shop
- Deliver groceries to home-bound residents around Grove
- Pick up food from local retailers as part of our food rescue program
- Complete minor construction projects to keep seniors safely housed
- Plan and put on special events for Grove community members
- Receive and sort food donations to keep our pantry well organized
- Donate your professional services to benefit families living at or below the poverty level. Photographer? Dentist? Seamstress? Special skills help vulnerable families.
Whether you have an hour a week or time for a one-day event, your support matters.
